Dress Code and Uniforms
The purpose of the HFA: SCS dress code is to promote a positive, healthy and safe learning environment and to prepare students for the world of work. All uniform orders and distributions are handled directly through Risse Brothers. Families may call their order in, order online or go directly to their store. They accept all forms of payment. Risse Brothers is located at 30860 Southfield Road, Southfield, MI 48076. Their phone number is 248.723.9935.
As a school on a college campus, students have the privilege to eat in a college cafeteria, where they held to high expectations for behavior and maturity. We provide free breakfast and lunch for all students. As a part of the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program, our school participates in the Community Eligible Provision Program; each year our school eligibility for additional state funding and grant programs is dependent on the completion of Household Information Surveys collected from each family. Emergency School Closings
During the winter season, there may be days where the school needs to close due to inclement weather conditions. On TV (Fox 2 News, WDIV Channel 4 News, and WXYZ Channel 7 News) our school will appear as "HFA: School for Creative Studies.¨
